Not unhumorously hailing from the small Tuscan town of Lucca, Luca Bacchetti is one of the foremost proponents of the seminal swing sound coming from the peninsula and abroad. Currently residing in Barcelona, the DJ, producer and co- label head makes swift business of spreading his signature twists and musical turns through myriad productions and remixes released on Ovum Recordings, Crosstown Rebels, Wagon Repair, Be As One, Defected, Supernature, Sci+Tec, Tenax, Safari Electronique and Hideout. Additionally, he’s accrued a host of accolades including a nod for Beatport’s best artist in 2008 that confirms Luca’s status as an industry leader. As a DJ, Bacchetti’s style is incomparable, showcasing his unique ear for selection and rare ‘voice’ to which he adds a sexiness uncommon amongst his peers. Equally versed at moving a dark basement club to fits of revelry as he is to casting a deep shadow across a sunny beach party, the breadth and depth of sources from which Luca culls his sets astounds constantly. It is this duality of emotion that interests the DJ and inspires the work on many releases. The contrasting shades of Luca’s sound have not been lost on the world’s clubbing masses. Worldwide venues like Womb, Fabric, Circoloco DC10, Cielo, Watergate, Arma 17, La Huaka have hosted the DJ to untempered excitement and have been converted to the light of the darker and brighter sides of his sound….

Visions Collective is proud the tell you that this time we´re treating you with pure earcandy straight from Berlin, in the form of a house wizard called Spedro. This bright talent is allready rocking the dancefloors all across Europe!

When not leaving his marks on labels like Lordag,Supdub, Extrasmart, Höhenregler, or on sundry compilations alongside Robert Dietz, Nic Fanculli and Daniel Steinberg, Phillip Basedow aka Spedro hosts the radio show “Viva la Electronica” with Bob Morane and tours from Berlin via Italy to Spain with “Boxx Sessions”. His releases can be found in Dj set lists from clubs and festivals like the Cocorico, Love Family Park or Amnesia and he is remixed by artists like Ozgur Can and M.in (Desolat).

Spedro will be accompanied by Visions own boys Audacious and Jaago, who will most certainly give you their own visions of what deep house is all about.

Jottei Vapun juhlinta jäisi keneltäkään puolitiehen, yhdistävät Suomen tunnetuin aamujatkoklubi After Hours sekä Clinic voimansa Playgroundissa, Iso Roobertinkatu 10:ssä vapunpäivänä 1.5. kello 04.00 alkaen.

Playgroundin pääsalin musiikkitarjonnasta vastaa israelilaisen technon ja housen supertähden Shlomi Aberin lisäksi Suomen tanssimusiikin kirkkain tähti – DJ Orkidea, harvinaisella livesetillään ihmisten tajuntoihin sukeltava Antti Rasi, jonka moni lienee oppinut tuntemaan artistinimellä Paul Easy, jolta kuullaan myös ensikertaa back-to back yhteissetti kovassa huudossa olevan nousevan kyvyn, Conchan kanssa sekä Playgroundin vakiokalustukseen kuuluva deepimmän tech housen taikuri Flink.

Kakkossalin musiikillisen annin laaduntakeena on Visions Collective, joiden seurassa toisen salin soundipolitiikasta vastaavat nousevat naiskyvyt K-Fold sekä Jekaterina.

Clinic juhlistaa Vappua technon ja housen tahdissa tuodessaan Venuelle, Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu 21:een 30.4.2012 israelilaisen technon suurnimen, Shlomi Aberin. Maailmalla suurta arvostusta sekä DJ:nä että tuottajana nauttiva Aber on 15 vuoden tuottaja- ja DJ uransa lisäksi pyörittänyt vuosikausia erittäin merkittäväksi levy-yhtöiksi omassa genressään noussutta Be As One:a. Oman levy-yhtiönsä lisäksi herran tuotoksia ovat julkaisseet sellaiset technon ja housen merkittävät levy-yhtiöt kuten Cocoon, Ovum, R&S, Objectivity sekä Reneissance.

RAVE SAVES – Suomen suurin elektronisen musiikin vuosittainen hyväntekeväisyystapahtuma – järjestetään nyt toista kertaa Virgin Oilissa la 7.4.2012. Viime vuonna tapahtumaan osallistui yli 1000 elektronisen musiikin ystävää. Mukaan pro-bono hengessä ovat jälleen lähteneet Suomen johtava DJ-kaarti, Virgin Oil sekä koko Rave Saves-tuotantotiimi. Illan lipunmyynnin koko tuotto lahjoitetaan Amnesty Internationalin Suomen osaston toimintaan.

Flipperi is known all over the globe through his Top Billin and Nightrunners labels and his Music People show on Basso. For those who know him a bit better, he is known as a true musicoholic and an incredible friend.

The second guest is Sebas from the hot Visions collective, who have together brought quality techno sounds to Helsinki underground venues for the past couple of years. Purists are great, but only if they have a good ear for music and an open mind. Which pretty much means that they are not purists.
