Visions collective has come a long way since its start in 2007 when two young visionaries were offered their first monthly residency in Helsinki’s old gem, Bar Loop; place were quality electronic music was delivered almost every night of the week. During 2008 and 2009 things took a new and very definite turn when the group finally reached its full form: five young shiny knights that we’re brought together by true friendship and genuine passion for deep, hypnotic hooking bass-lines.
Visions represents distinctive and puristic sounds, with the intention to offer people a musical journey, and especially those “what THE fu*k is this sick track”-moments on the dance floor when you can nothing but put on a nasty grin on your face and throw those furious uppercuts in the air.
Besides the residencies in Bar Loop and Ibadan/Apotek label-nights w/ Jerome Sydenham at Playground, we have every month persistently tried to provide dancers with musical moments of joy in the infamous After Hours fiestas in Playground, Jack in former Redrum, Pacifique Maupiti in Serena waterpark, and many others in the Finnish capital region.
In September 2010 Visions New Era UG in Helsinki blew people away by bringing unique talents from Berlin, Barcelona and Finland together under the same roof for 300 people…and let us tell you, there will be plenty more to come!
Now in 2011 Visions-collective is taking on new responsibilities of providing Finnish inhabitants musical excellence in their own monthly club night in Bassment on Saturdays and visiting regularly in After Hours on Sunday mornings.
